All these books are ones I’ve either read or want to read.
The Sublime and Spirited Voyage of Original Sin by Colette Moody
The Wrong Dead Guy by Richard Kadrey
The Last Camel Died at Noon by Elizabeth Peters
Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
The Sun’s Rival by Danielle E. Shipley
The Murder at the Murder at the Mimosa Inn by Joan Hess
Daybreak Rising by Kiran Oliver
I’ve discovered that I have no idea what makes a title unique. Are there any truly unique titles? Anyhow, here’s my go at it. What titles do you think are unique?
Cozy mysteries always have the best titles! Simon vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda is getting a lot of nods today, too. I need to read that one soon.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!

Simon Vs has certainly been appearing a lot today! I think it’s a unique title but I have no idea what it has to do with the book!

And I don’t think the book even tells you until close to the ending. However, I will say, it is a surprisingly fitting title.

Simon Vs. is one of the weirdest titles ever. That’s exactly why I read it.

Then I think the title probably did its job. (And it really is a unique title.)

Hi Amy, what a great list! I think a unique title makes you feel like it is fresh and different from other books you may find out there…. I think it should intrigue me!

Good point. I’m so used to a certain type of titles that it’s always fun to find ones that are different/quirky.

I’m not sure why but “The Wrong Dead Guy” just sent me into a five minute laugh marathon. Great list!

Seriously, it should. I didn’t even know what the book was about when I saw that title then I read the synopsis and I had to buy it immediately because it sounds as hilarious as the title.
