Hosted by the lovely people over at The Broke and the Bookish.
I know they eat – at least sometimes – in the books I read, but, honestly, right now all I can think of is omelets. And talking about whats in hot dogs and how hamburgers are made. (Trust me that you don’t want to know. I knew and I still didn’t want to read it.) But, usually after I’ve read a couple of books, I don’t even remember what food has been mentioned, much less if it sounded good.
I thought about several different ways I could twist this, but ultimately I decided to go with the titles from the Hannah Swensen mystery series by Joanne Fluke. I used to read them and one of my favorite things was the recipes in each book. You can find the entire series on Goodreads here.
Did I make you hungry? What foodie books do you like?
Wow those are some yummy sounding title… love authors that can make me hungry just reading a title.

Exactly! Even better, each book has recipes – including one for the title food.

I haven’t read any of these, but I’d love to try one of them someday. 🙂

They’re pretty fun books – though I’m not sure I’ve read all the ones mentioned here because I borrowed a lot from the library.

Those covers are so awesome. I’ll take some of those yummy looking sugar cookies, or maybe the key line pie. 🙂

They are! I definitely second the order for the sugar cookies because I LOVE sugar cookies. (And I’m not really much of a baker so I don’t often get homemade ones.)
